Glow

I’ve been working in the garden this weekend – trying to keep up with the fresh growth sprouting up all over the place.
I’d complain about it, but I’ve learned that this is the time to soak in what Nana offers us after a long, hard winter.
The amazing glow from new vegetation is an odd mix of new and old.
New because it’s the first time these particular leaves have existed. But old in the sense that they’re simply the most recent embodiments of a life force that’s deeper and more ancient than any of us can imagine.
And the best part is that we can experience this all by simply stepping outside the door and looking around.
