Today is the autumnal equinox – a time when Nana starts to toss out hints of the winter to come.

It’s that chill in the air when you leave the house in the morning. That vague, yet distinct scent of change on the winds. And the subtle shift in the color of the sun’s rays.

No single hint gives away the answer, but the collection of them does lead you to the conclusion that summer is finally over.
