Your initial reaction to life’s disasters is to view them as the end of the world.
Everything turned upside down, inside out and twisted — nothing but ashes as far as you can see.
Even nature pulls back for a time after crisis.
But the part that’s hard to see in the moment, yet crucial in the long run, is to realize that fresh life does regrow.
And the life that emerges is more colorful, interesting and vital than anything in the old.
